Kelsey Artes is Engaged!!

No one else has posted this news yet, so I figured that I would post it up. Kelsey Artes is engaged! I don't really know what to say, other than that I am really happy for her and Troy. I did laugh at her comment on FB: "Kelsey Artes Thanks for all the warm wishes! Gettin hitched is gonna be fun! :)"

Mock Trial, Talent Show, Spring Break!

Greetings All! The past few weeks have been busy and exciting for me. First, we have the Packers. The fact that they beat the Bears, then went on to wipe out the Steelers for the Super Bowl, is awesome.

I recently was invited to play guitar at a school event to help entertain people while they found out more about the school. Over the course of about two hours, I got to play about 30 minutes worth of material. It was a lot of fun, even though the people who were playing (including myself) were never paid much attention too, but were rather just providing some background music. I played some Eric Clapton, Hendrix, and some 12 bar blues. I had a decent number of parents come up to me as I was walking around in between songs commenting me on my playing.

Packers vs. Bears

I am a Packers fan. Many of you other Creaseys are Bears fans. And, with the winner of this game going to the Super Bowl, it is safe to say that this game is going to be huge. GO PACK GO!

Fun Problem"

Cool little brain teaser that I did today - I was pretty happy when I got it right. Of course the statistic about how many people can get it right seems off . . .
"
The author of this problem is Albert Einstein who said that 98% of the people in the world couldn't solve it.

Facts:
1. There are 5 houses (along the street) in 5 different colors:
Blue, Green, Red, White and Yellow.
2. In each house lives a person of a different nationality:
Brit, Dane, German, Norwegian and Swede.
3. These 5 owners drink a certain beverage:
Beer, Coffee, Milk, Tea and Water.
4. Smoke a certain brand of cigar:
Blue Master, Dunhill, Pall Mall, Prince and Blend.
5. and keep a certain pet:
Cat, Bird, Dog, Fish and Horse.

Short Gaming Blog

I haven't posted anything for quite a while, but I figured I would post two little articles relating to games that I have played.
This first one belongs to Starcraft and the movement and their fingers. This is crazy

This picture is rather large so I will just have to link the site:
 Some crazy facts about WoW.
I haven't visited the world of Azeroth recently, but when the next expansion comes, I might just have to find some time to play it. As for the next Starcraft game, which comes out July 27th, I will be purchasing that as soon as I return from the lake.

More foot, back, life information

Well Yesterday (Monday) I met with a foot doctor, but a different kind of doctor than my regular guy. My regular dude tells me whats up with the whole foot thing, and how everything affects everything else. This foot doc. worked with people who have like fake legs, or people who need some sort of cast or brace for their legs due to lower body problems (as far as I could tell). I felt really out of place, but at the same time very in place while sitting in the lobby waiting for some person to inform me as to what was going on. There were many pictures on the wall from the early 1900s of people wearing braces of some sort, or casts, and it made me feel a little bit more comfortable that the people here have been like . . . leading adventurers in the world of foot stuff.

Update and stuff . . .

You won't be able to read this post in one sitting, just a heads up. Or if you plan to, make sure to grab a mountain dew or a cup of coffee because it is rather long.

So I just killed a spider that was moving faster than my eyes could follow with a Kleenex, also known as a Creasey's best friend. This spider was black, and met its end when it felt the white cloth smooooooooosh it against the soft carpet. We swallow like 5 spiders in our lifetime during sleep, and I told this particular one that he would not be one of them. I made this decision, because, well, I don't want a spider racing down my throat faster than that Bolt dude, then realizing that there are only a few insects and cobwebs there, and a few is not enough to sustain a happy life.

Cannot Think of a Title?

It is currently friday, the 17th of July, 7 days (almost 6) until I (and dad) leave for Okoboji, where I shall stay for 2 weeks. I have been imagining the smell of the water for multiple days now, waiting to get into the lake water for the first time this year. My musical instruments will be coming with me, as well as root beer and a few other precious assets. However, the assets are not what make "The Lake" the Lake, but rather the people who surround it. For one of those weeks, the "Ultimate Jam Sesshh" will occur, in which I will be mocked by Andrew, as Bob gives me a nickname. Meanwhile, David will take my guitar away from me, mid-riff none the less, as he turns to John, who is laughing at the entire ordeal.

Permit!

After a total of 30 hours of drivers education over the past month, I was finally cleared to go and test for my permit. Now I received a 91% on the practice test (112/125), so I decided I had no fear and knew that the next day I was going to go and test for my drivers permit. After mom almost ran a stop sign, and then almost missed the testing place, we had finally made it. I jumped out of the car with a confident feeling - blue card, birth certificate, social security number, and ID in hand. We went inside, and stood in like for about twenty minutes.
This was no big deal to me, until I figured out that there were about 5 people in line in front of me, and I soon realized I should have waited there for about 5 minutes, because the process to sit down  and to take the computer multiple choice test was quite simple: she took my blue card, school ID, and birth certificate, handed me another card, saying "This is your lucky number," until calling "Next." Basically, they were being slow.
